With over two decades of experience in technology and leadership and fifteen years as a small business owner, Ryan has a proven track record of leveraging technical innovations such as cloud computing, data analytics, and AI to drive business innovation and transformation.

In his role as Managing Director of Technology at Harvard Business School Online and Executive Education, Ryan leads technological initiatives that enhance online and in-person learning experiences. His expertise encompasses technical leadership, cloud architecture and infrastructure, software development, data analytics, and AI which he has effectively utilized to innovate in the educational technology sector.  His recent work has been focused on leveraging generative AI as both a feature in learning products and for enhancing individual productivity of the organization. Through his role at Harvard he has worked closely with many of the leading experts in business education and practice.

Ryan's professional journey also includes co-ownership of Diaper Lab with his wife Salina, a Cambridge, Massachusetts based company providing cloth diaper and babywearing sales, service, and education to local families.  Ryan has applied his technological acumen to optimize business operations in ecommerce, storefront retail, customer education, and service operations in support of their customer- and community-focused mission.

Ryan's diverse experiences equip him with a unique perspective on integrating AI solutions across various industries and organizational sizes.  He is a seasoned communicator and educator, having served as a teaching assistant in a variety of courses at the Harvard Extension School, presented at multiple technical conferences, and co-authored articles and whitepapers on various technical subjects.
